BASIC BREAD RECIPE
From this basic mix you can develop your own favourite loaf
Ingredients
200g flour
5g yeast
5g salt
5g bread seasoning
5g sugar
100g water
Method
-
mix all dry ingredients together
-
add the water slowly, sufficient for the mixture to become "dough-like". slightly more or less maybe required
-
kneed for 5 minutes
-
form into a round
-
sprinkle with flour, cover with a damp cloth, place somewhere warm and allow to double in size
-
pre-heat oven to 220oC
-
bake for 30 minutes or until dark brown
-
remove from oven allow to cool on a rack for 30 minutes
