About the Recipe

Ingredients

KOFTA

  • 120g red onion-finely diced

  • 4 garlic cloves-grated

  • 1 bunch parsley (stems removed)-chopped

  • 500g ground beef

  • 100g breadcrumbs 

  • one egg

  • salt &

  • 5g ground allspice,

  • 1g ground cinnamon

SAUCE-mix all the below together

  • 200ml sour cream,

  • chives-finely chopped

  • 4 garlic cloves-finely grated

  • 20g fresh ginger-finely grated

  • zest of one lime

Preparation

  1. place all the kofta ingredients in a bowl and mix together

  2. mould onto a cocktail stick

  3. spread 1/2 the sour cream sauce over the koftas

  4. bake in the oven at 200oC for 15 minutes

  5. serve with sour cream and sauce
