Lentil Bread

  • 200g red lentils (rinse well)

  • 20g psyllium

  • 60ml water

  • 20ml olive oil

  • 7g baking powder

  • 5g salt

  • 10ml lemon juice or cider vinegar

  • 50g mixed seeds


  1. soak the lentils in the water for at least 2 hrs

  2. puree/ process the lentils for 10 seconds (course grind)

  3. mix all the ingredients together

  4. form into a bread dough type consistency

  5. add addtional water if required

  6. roll into 30cm balls

  7. cover in mixed seeds

  8. bake for 35 minutes
