High Protein-Spicy Meat Balls

Ingredients

MEATBALLS

  • 1000g ground beef

  • 4 eggs

  • 100g rolled oats

  • 100g grated carrots

  • 150g finely chopped onion

  • 100g pea protein or no flavour protien powder

  • 2 garlic cloves grated

  • 20g grated fresh ginger

  • 1 lemon zest grated

  • 10g cumin

  • 10g coriander seeds

  • 5g chilli powder

  • salt and pepper

SAUCE

  • 200g low fat greek yoghurt

  • sprig of fresh mint

  • juice of one lemon

  • 10g honey





Preparation

  1. pre heat oven to 180 oC

  2. mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and leave to rest in the fridge for one hour

  3. shape into balls approx 2 cm diameter

  4. place in a baking pan and bake for 45 minutes


serve with mint yoghurt sauce
