Buckwheat Bread

Ingredients

  • 500g buckwheat

  • 2g salt

  • enough water to cover the buckwheat

Preparation

  1. rinse the buckwheat

  2. place in a bowl and add sufficient water to cover the buckwheat

  3. place in a refridgerator and leave for 2 hrs

  4. drain-DO NOT RINSE

  5. process in a food processor-add sufficient water to make the consistency of a "thick batter"

  6. place in a 30cm oblong bread tin

  7. allow the dough to rise to the top of the tin.-NOTE: this will be for a minimum of 24 hrs-nothing will happen for at least 16 hrs

  8. bake at 190 oC for 45 minutes
