Bruno Bar Chocolate, Ginger and Espresso Pre-training Bar

  • 100g dark chocolate

  • 50g honey

  • 50g peanut butter

  • 100g dried apricots

  • 50g pumpkin seeds

  • 100g oats

  • 75g desiccated coconut

  • 50g greek yoghurt (or coconut milk)

  • 10g fresh ginger (grated)

  • espresso shot


  1. place all ingredients with the exception of the oats, desiccated coconut, pumpkin seeds & greek yoghurt in a plastic bowl and microwave for 2 minutes (or over a pan of boiling water)

  2. ensure the chocolate has melted, then add all the remaining ingredients, mix well place in a 8 x 15cm tray and refrigerate for 2 hrs.

  3. once solid, cut into 2cm x2cm blocks
