Ingredients

  • 4 chicken legs

  • 20g BBQ spice

  • 40g honey

  • 40g tomato ketchup

  • 40g water

  • 5g salt

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180oC

  2. roughly score the chicken all over-this increases the surface area

  3. mix in all the other ingredients and make sure the chicken is completly covered

  4. bake skin side down for 20 minutes-then turn

  5. bake for a furhter 20 minutes untri crispy and brown

  6. if in doubt use a food thermometer and ensure the thickest part of the meat is above 85 oC

  7. once cooked store in the fridge
