Basic Buckwheat

  • 500g buckwheat

  • 200g frozen peas

  • 20g olive oil

  • 2 garlic cloves-roughtly chopped

  • two vegetablle stock cube

  • 800 ml water


  1. add the buckwheat, garlic and olive oil to a pan and toast for 3 minutes

  2. add the water, bring to boil withvegetable stock cubes

  3. simmer for 5 minutes

  4. remove from the heat add the peas and allow to cool

  5. you can add jsut about anyhting for flavour, herbs, spices, pesto or freshly chopped tomatoes oninons ETC.
