PEANUT AND CARAMEL SAUCE

Ingredients 

For the sauce

100g sugar

100g butter

60ml double cream

For the flavor

100g Salted peanuts or one gram of salt to make a salted caramel sauce

Method

  • In a thick bottom pan, heat the sugar until golden brown

  • Add warm cream and stir until fully incorporated into the sugar

  • Remove form the heat and stir in the butter (small pieces) quickly. work in the butter

  • Pass through a sieve and add the peanuts or salt

  • Place in a sterilized jar
