75ml warm milk

20g caster sugar

7g yeast(1 packet)

240g plain flour

5g salt

3g baking powder

20g vegetable oil

75ml natural yoghurt

1 egg beaten


  • Combine the milk, sugar, yeast and allow to stand for 10 minutes

  • mix all the other ingredients in a bowl, then add the milk ferment

  • cover, leave in a warm place for one hour

  • divide into 75g pieces and roll out to 2mm thick circles

  • cook in a very hot pan until golden on either side

  • as soon as they leave the pan brush with butter-NOTE: you can flavor the butter with fresh chopped garlic, coriander leaves or curry spices
