RUM AND RAISIN CHOCOLATE SPREAD

Ingredients 

200g dark chocolate

50g butter

100ml double cream

100ml spiced rum

100g raisins

Method

  • Soak the raisins in the spiced rum for 6 hours

  • Chop the chocolate and butter into 1 cm dice add the cream

  • Place in a bowl and place the bowl over a simmering pan of water until the chocolate and butter have melted

  • Then add the soaked raisins, place in a sterilized jar and refrigerate, once cold place on the lid
